Betsy Thomson has been doing readings as an intuitive counselor for twenty years. When doing a reading, Betsy focuses on energy patterns, dimensions, rhythms and movement in and around the body. Many factors contribute to our sense of well being, from the foods we eat and the air we breathe, to the relationships we choose. These same factors can drain our energy and diminish our joy if they aren't feeding us in a positive way. In this workshop series, we will explore the foods and lifestyle choices that nourish us - body and soul, and simple ways to incorporate them into our lives.

This gathering is for people who would like to delve into a deeper understanding of spirituality: our connection to God, each other and the Universe. This group will explore topics and practices centered around Greenshire’s new program offering Oneray (on’ er ay): A Comprehensive Practice to Healing and Transformation. The focus of discussion will be on the Seven Passages included in the Oneray curriculum.

The flow of the evening will be discussion, silent reflection and empowerment meditations, ending with a social time for group connection. People of all faiths and persuasions are invited into this sacred realm of love and acceptance.

Facilitator: Arlene Rose Curley, B.A., is an intuitive healer and Reiki Master/Teacher as well as spiritual mentor, interfaith minister, facilitator of personal growth programs, and Greenshire Director. $20.

Reiki Healing Certification

Reiki is a safe and natural healing method for oneself and others. Feel More Energetic, Reduce Stress Levels, Alleviate Pain, Detoxify Body, Balance Energies, Maintain Good Health. This powerful healing modality and philosophy of life is especially taught in a way that will enhance your spiritual awareness and transformative healing.

Level I: April 28, 10am - 5pm
Includes history of Reiki, first degree Reiki attunements, hand positions for treatments on self and others, body/mind/spirit connection, practice of Reiki techniques, a printed manual and Reiki I certification. August 13, 10am - 5pm. $100. Refresher for Greenshire students, $25.

Level II: February 25
At this level Reiki works more powerfully and also penetrates the space-time barrier. Learn how to transmit this healing energy over distance and time, helping to heal the past and send healing energy into the future. Learn how Reiki can be applied to ideas and situations, assist in eliminating unwanted habits and enhance talents. Receive special symbols and more powerful attunements. Includes Reiki Level II certification and detailed manual. Follow-up class TBA. $200. Refresher for Greenshire students: $25.

Level III Master/Teacher: February 10, 11, 12 (plus additional sessions)
In practicing Reiki you are connecting the spirit world with the human, accessing the power of the Universal Healing Force that healers throughout the ages have used in their healing practices. Learn to work with Spirit in the channeling of these energies for the highest good of all. This deeply nurturing class has been designed especially for the Reiki student to expand, integrate, cleanse and heal. $500 (Master), plus $300 (Teacher). (Master and Teacher are taken at two different times). Refresher for Greenshire students: $150. Contact Greenshire if interested.

Reiki Practices

All Levels: February 27, Monday, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Enjoy connecting with the Reiki community. Discuss Reiki concepts and share your questions and reflections. We will also spend part of the evening with hands-on practice. You are welcome to bring friends who are new to this healing modality, and would like to experience Reiki. Free-will donation.

Levels II and III: TBA
In this advanced practice, we will address any questions that arise, review distant Reiki, and explicitly practice the affirmations and techniques associated with the subconscious and reprogramming protocols. Refer to your Reiki II manual for review before you attend this practice. Donation.

Reiki III: TBA
At this advanced level, it is important for the serious student to stay connected with the Reiki community. You’ll have an opportunity to discuss your Reiki path, and questions and reflections on particular practices or Reiki healing sessions. During this particular evening we will begin our discussion and hands-on practice of Energy Clearing, so in preparation, please review that section in your Reiki III manual.

Spiritual Self-Mastery (a women's gathering)

In an intentional group created by women who are consciously seeking and refining, we gather to explore the next steps in self-healing and inner growth. What is it to heal? to become aware? to grow? What is our direction? How can we purposefully create our life?

'Being out in front' with our spiritual awakening and emerging wisdom is an honor and privilege. It is during these challenging times that we all seek the support of like-minded community, where we can meaningfully connect with others in reflection, contemplation, and study. You are invited to become a part of the Greenshire’s Women’s Community as together we explore meaningful perspectives that are in step with the changing times, and will further enhance our life path. The evening’s gathering will include Sharing Circle, Group Activity, Meditation, Social.
