Peace
Garden
As a living
monument to its vision for a peaceful life and a peaceful world, Greenshire is
building an artistically planned Peace Garden for the community to enjoy.
The Peace Garden will be a joint community project
incorporating many people in various capacities, and will be officially
dedicated this coming fall. Included in the design of quiet and beauty are
plants, statuary, water gardens and resting places. It will also be the location
of a Peace Pole, a symbol of world outreach for peace and Greenshire's
commitment toward promoting a peaceful life.
Since the Peace
Garden is a community project, Greenshire is looking for individuals, businesses
and organizations to contribute plants, materials, sculptures, work hours and/or
funding. Since Greenshire is a non-profit organization, donations may be tax
deductible.
