The mission of The Greenshire School is to prepare students to live confident and inspired lives as responsible stewards of Self, Community and the Planet. Our holistic approach to education provides an integrative program of the sciences, humanities, arts and living skills. Along with excellence in academics, Greenshire fosters creativity and individuality in our students, encouraging them to explore and embrace their inherent abilities, uniqueness and qualities of the heart.
The Seven Core Principles
The Greenshire School’s philosophy of education is based upon seven core principles. By integrating these principles, each student develops his or her individuality, which forms the cornerstone for a successful and inspired life.

Vision
The Greenshire School, to be located in East Rockhill, is a vision that Greenshire has been exploring for the past several years. We are now engaged in the actual planning. Our vision includes beginning with a summer camp and when ready, starting the actual school with grades K – 3, grade levels to be added each year.
We are establishing a core of interested people who are creating a workable business plan, developing the space, and forming an exciting curriculum. We are also seeking corporate and private donations to generate a solid financial base. When all the pieces are in place, Greenshire School will be ready to open its doors, and the date and location will be announced.
